Routine maintenance and deeper cleaning in one bundle
Edible ink can dry in the printhead when a printer sits unused, potentially causing missing colors, streaks or blocked nozzles. This bundle includes two complementary cleaning options to help you care for your printer and address different levels of buildup.
- Cleaning cartridges for routine maintenance: Filled with specialized, food-grade cleaning solution, these compatible cartridges help loosen dried edible ink and address light clogs associated with non-use.
- A flush system for more stubborn clogs: The flush tool allows cleaning fluid to be applied through the printhead's ink passages to help dislodge buildup that routine cartridge cleaning may not resolve. Use it according to the included illustrated instructions for your printer.
The flush kit includes: flush system, 120 ml cleaning fluid, soaking jar, cleaning cloth, tweezers and gloves, plus illustrated instructions. Have cotton swabs and paper towels on hand; these are not included.
From regular upkeep to more involved printhead cleaning, you will have supplies ready when you need them, with InkEdibles technical support available to help you choose the appropriate approach.
For maintenance and cleaning only: Cleaning cartridges and flush fluid are not edible inks and are not used to print decorations for consumption. Follow the included instructions for cleaning and returning the printer to edible ink use. Do not force fluid through a blocked printhead; contact InkEdibles if you encounter resistance or need guidance. Results depend on the cause and severity of the clog, and cleaning may not resolve every blockage or repair a damaged printhead.

InkEdibles edible inks and edible ink cartridges are food grade and FDA compliant for their intended food applications.
IMPORTANT: Use edible ink exclusively
Keep this printer dedicated to edible ink from its first use. Never install regular ink cartridges, mix regular and edible inks, or use a printer, printhead or cartridge that has previously contained regular ink for edible printing. Regular ink contamination can present a health hazard.
Follow InkEdibles setup, handling and maintenance instructions. Use only compatible edible supplies and InkEdibles-recommended food-grade cleaning products as directed. The included cleaning cartridges and flush system are for maintenance and cleaning only; they do not make a printer previously used with regular ink suitable for edible printing.
