MAGNA TONER ACQUIRES AQC DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS

(Irwindale - CA) -   Magna Toner Corp. has acquired the exclusive distribution rights for AQC toner in the United States. The company will do business as AQC West and will operate out of Irwindale, Calif.

“We are very excited to represent such a solid pioneer and quality manufacturer in the toner industry,” said Dr. Dimitris Constantinou, Magna Toner founder. “For many years, I have had first-hand experience of the quality of product, competitive pricing, and just as importantly the quality of people that AQC represents, and I am very confident and excited about moving the brand forward as the U.S. distributor. We will bring significant value to the recharger by continuing to provide the same high quality AQC products at very competitive pricing as well as a much larger variety of remanufacturing supplies, all the while focusing on a very personalized and efficient service.”

AQC produces more than 180 metric tons of toner per month and has been manufacturing since 1985, making it one of the pioneers in the toner supply industry, and one of the few North American independent toner manufacturers.

“Over the years, the AQC business has evolved, and we have been unable to service the smaller account the way they need to be serviced,” said Alan Kronstat, AQC executive director of worldwide sales. “AQC West will be able to provide a more personalized service to the small- and mid-sized account, all the while continuing to provide the quality of AQC as well as a variety of other components.”

Joining Magna Toner will be Tony Journet (formerly with AQC Group) who has 11 years experience in sales and business development for the aftermarket industry. "I'm very excited to finally have the chance to build something that I'm truly a part of and I look forward to providing past clients and future clients with the expertise and the professionalism they deserve and have come to expect,” said Journet.

Constantinou believes that with the powerhouse of AQC manufacturing behind it and the people that are a part of it, coupled with a more focused customer service approach that tailors individually to the small- and mid-sized account, Magna Toner will provide a better overall solution than other large distributors in the industry that either do not have their own manufacturing capacity or are too large to focus on the smaller customer. “We will offer better pricing and better service on better product than our competitors, product which is manufacturer direct,” said Constantinou.
